Book Review: "The Tales of Beatrix Potter"

Beatrix Potter is the author and illustrator of many books. I have one of these books at home and they are really good. It has many stories and all of them are about animals that do very funny things. Like, a cat caught a mouse in a bag with a hole in it; the mouse wiggled out of the hole and started dancing. Also, mice were sewing a coat for somebody's friend. My favorite is the story of Squirrel Nutkin.

In this story a squirrel named Nutkin goes to Owl Island with his friends. He does not bring a gift however everyone else does. Then he doesn't even gather nuts but says rude riddles to the owl. The next day it repeats except he says a different riddle and they bring a different gift. I'm not going to tell you the end, but it's a good ending.

 Scarpetto is my pet long nose snake. I caught him, he appears to have no teeth. he pulled off his skin because that is the only way that he can grow. it's called molting. here is a movie of   it, enjoy.

Tiny Zoo

You can play Tiny Zoo on an iphone or ipod touch or ipad. Tiny Zoo is a small virtual zoo where you can grow animals, make animals and earn zoo bucks and coins. To make animals you must reach level 10 and press the Lab button. I'm not at level 10 so I don't know what it's like in the lab but when I get there I'm going to build a lot of creatures. I'm going to mix panda, red panda, koala and black bear and maybe butterfly. It would look like a standing multicolored panda that eats meat, bamboo and eucalyptus leaves and can fly. It can also suck nectar out of flowers. I like tiny zoo. I recommend it to all. Recommended by THE BEAK

Book Review: "Egg Monsters from Mars" by R.L. Stine

Imagine that you found a mysterious green egg in your yard and hatched an alien that looks like rotten scrambled eggs. If you think that's sounds cool, then read "Egg Monsters from Mars." I do not suggest this book to 5 year olds. I suggest this book to 6 year olds and up because it has some weird and scaryish parts, like when the egg monsters turn into a ball and run over a person. It was scary because you're like, "What are the egg monsters going to do? Are they going to suffocate him by climbing over him and using their eggy substance to suffocate him or are they going to keep him warm like a blanket?" My favorite part was when he learned to communicate with them. After reading this book you might never look at eggs the same way again. Recommended by The Beak.

The F-24 Cannon

I built a cannon of lego . It is a multi-destroyer. Its gray. it has one minicannon. It can walk. It has a lego spike shooter, a jewel shooter, and pirahna shooter. The main shooter can move. When droids hit the green spikes all the energy zaps out and destroys all the other robots. Here is a picture of the cannon:

Poison in the Air

A wildfire in the next state over has blown smoke and ash here. We have been told to stay inside because the smoke can choke us. And it is raining ash. It smells like burnt pine needles and everything looks black and brown. The sky looks brown and smoky. It burns your tongue if you stick it out. So don't be rude and stick your tongue out - it will burn! It also dries out your eyeballs so you have to wear goggles outside. More news tomorrow from The Beak.
